Photos are not guaranteed to be perfect in each case. They are AI generated, so some of them might retain your likeness better than others.
If the selfie you share is very high resolution and good quality (good lighting, nothing obscuring your face, etc), you'll get much better results. If you share a low quality photo (from a bad low resolution selfie camera, with bad lighting, or cropped from another photo), you'll see results that look a lot less like you.
Google's safety filters are tuned very high and they often reject the outputs for specific combinations of a prompt and image, even there's nothing NSFW about the input photo, the prompt, or the output. We try a few times in these cases with variations of the prompt, but if Google rejects all our attempts we deliver the photoshoot without that scenario.

No, we cannot offer refunds because we have already paid the costs to generate your photos. Once your photoshoot is processed, the computational resources have been used and cannot be recovered.
If you get a message like "Sorry, the trial photoshoot failed." then please try a different picture. Note that the AI will refuse to process most famous people, celebrities, anything related to nudity, violence, politics, and many other topics, but if you upload a normal selfie of yourself (and you're not a famous person), then it should always work.
